1. I CHOOSE YOU (intro)
• I choose you is one of my favourite songs on the EP, a blend of two feelings clearly shown in how the song transitions from light raps carried by a singer’s voice, to a beautiful clash of harmonies. The song is a brief thought about how I am feeling toward a relationship. I am telling a partner that we could do better, that we are capable of doing better but we just won’t let ourselves and it’s ruining a good thing. It’s a reminder that we should take every chance we get to savour a good Love.

2. STAY DOWN
• I titled this song stay down to pay homage to 90s RnB which continues to influence my decision making musically. I especially love this song because it came out of nowhere, we had no leading instrumental idea – it really just made itself from nothing. I remember it took a while for Deep_McCent to catch its vibe as well because from what we had created as a skeleton, he couldn’t imagine how the song would turn out. What we knew is that we were way outside the bounds of House music and we could only go further out – I was fine with that.

3. WHAT IF I DECIDE
• I am certain that what if I decide is going to be one of those timeless songs. It has already shown that it has the potential, it’s simply one of those songs that resonates with people so easily and so genuinely – although not too popular on the internet yet, it is one of the songs that created a foundation for NdufromtheClan. It has continuously defined the journey, its depth and reach. I wrote the song over a few glasses of wine one night with the candles burning silently at the background – it was a lovely day filled with reminiscing.

4. VIBRATIONS (outro)
• Vibrations is inspired by two songs from two of my favourite RnB artists – Emergency Intro by Tank and Inside Interlude by Trey Songz. The song is playful and seductive and is also a personal favourite because of how it translates beautifully live.
